The Argus story began a decade ago. At the time, live-streaming was a new technology and advertisements could only be 30-second spots. YouTube made major waves in 2008 with its very first live broadcast, featuring Katy Perry and a host of other major celebrities. A cameraman for this broadcast was our founder, Tim Kay, who became fascinated by the possibilities live-streaming could offer, and how it changes how we consume media and opens up communication to a worldwide audience. He never looked back. Few companies were taking advantage of this new and exciting opportunity at the time. Seeing that, Tim sought to build a company that could fill this coming need. Starting with a few cameras and pieces of equipment, Tim officially founded Argus HD in 2014. In the years since, Argus has grown into a company that has worked extensively with companies such as Google, the Discovery Channel, SAP, the University of California, and the Golden State Warriors, and has taken its work around the country and the world. Argus now has several employees and is devoted to implementing the latest technologies. We will always work to better ourselves, in order to provide our clients the best experiences and results possible.
