The Black Business Initiative (BBI) is a province-wide business development initiative designed to promote the growth of businesses owned by members of the Nova Scotia Black community. BBI prioritizes training Black business owners to manage their businesses, from marketing to budgeting to securing financing. BBI seeks to increase black presence in a variety of business sectors, including high-tech, manufacturing, tourism and the cultural sector.
