Founder Jennifer Owen considers her design approach to be inherited. A combination of having an engineer for a father and an artist as a mother instilled a conviction that good design is a well-engineered solution executed with artistic craftsmanship. Her father’s sense of structure and her mother’s ability to transform the ordinary served as the foundation for creating Owen Design Company in 2007.
